About Chika

A Life in Service of
Equity and Excellence

The Story

Chika Idoko is a purpose-driven strategist whose career has been shaped by a singular conviction: that organisations thrive when all people within them can bring their full selves to work. With roots in Nigeria and a career spanning multiple continents, Chika carries a rich, textured understanding of what equity truly requires — not as an aspiration, but as architecture.

As a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Specialist, she has worked with multinational corporations, NGOs, and start-ups to design strategies that go far deeper than policy — embedding inclusion into the very DNA of how organisations operate, hire, develop, and lead.

A respected People & Culture leader, Chika has shaped workplaces where talent does more than survive — it flourishes. She brings both the strategic rigour of a seasoned executive and the warmth of someone who genuinely believes in the potential of every person in the room.

As a Board Member and trusted advisor, Chika brings her expertise to the highest levels of governance — ensuring that the organisations shaping our world are themselves shaped by a commitment to justice and human dignity. Her enthusiasm for Africa — its people, its possibilities, its emerging leadership — infuses everything she does with both urgency and hope.

Africa

“Africa is not a backdrop to my work.
It is the heartbeat of it.”

Chika’s connection to the African continent — its 1.4 billion people, 54 nations, and extraordinary diversity of thought, culture, and ambition — is not incidental. It is central. She actively champions African voices in global DEI conversations, challenges Eurocentric frameworks, and advocates for policies and practices that are culturally intelligent and contextually relevant.

Let’s work together.
